Hey good people,

Thanks for hanging in there with me during another absence.  Life!  While after a challenge from a fellow blogger, I decided to try my hand at designing a candle using the tissue paper technique.  It was seriously easy and fun (maybe using this idea for Christmas gifts ;0) .  I used the image of myself, which was purchased from Robert Jackson. Then I just added bling and a few flowers.  TFL..

Teenage RACE Challenge

Hey good people,

Are you ready for a good laugh?  I hope so because after you watch this video you are going to be crackin up...soooooo, I as at a crop today and two young teenagers decided to challenge me to a race.  The goal was to run to the ballroom doors and back.  Now, needless to say I am about 30 years older than these young ladies, but they insisted they could beat me in a race.  Well, tell me what you think...LMBO!  TFL,

Craft Day Cards

Hey good people, I have accepted an offer to teach at a local Craft Day event.  I was asked to make 3-4 projects, so I plan to teach the crafters how to alter a tissue paper roll (in the red), and the two simple cards.  I will post the last design i a cople days.  If you have an idea about the type of card I show teach, let me know because I want it to be a bit challenging.  I am excited as it is my first time being paid to show someone how to make a card.  It's ironic because I only made layouts until I joined the site Scraps of Color.  Cardmaking wasn't an interest of mine, but I really enjoy it now.  TFL

I have seen many projects created by people using paper napkins, so I decided to try my hand at it.  I used mod podge to adhere it to the frame ($1 frame from Michael's) and my image drawn by Robert Jackson.  I like what I have done...tell me what you think...TFL.  Much love, Kinkybella.

Tonight I was playing around with an idea I saw at the Community Center..it's not perfected, but I did enjoy making these simple magnets.  I will make more and post for your viewing pleasure later:)  I used the image Robert Jackson made of me, mod podge, and flat stones I purchased from the Dollar Tree ( I will get more; have you seen how much they cost else where).  I sized and used a 1" circle punch on the image, then glued the flat side of the stone and adhered the image...lastly I put a round magnet on the back.  How cute!  Anyways, they were easy and fun to make.  TFL.

Paint Stick for Memas Crafts Year in Review Challenge

Memas craft's is hosting a Year in Review challenge over on Scraps of Color and it's one of the easiest challenge's we will find in 2013.  You can also find the challenge at:  http://memascrafts.blogspot.com/; all you have to do is post up to two of your favorite creations from 2012...I can't resist such a low maintenance challenge...it might cause you a little stress if all of your creations are fantastic, but I don't have that problem...LOL! Holiday Greetings

Hey good people,  I just want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season.  I am visiting my parents in Little Rock Arkansas and if you have been watching the weather, you know we are having one hell of a snow storm...YES!! A White Christmas for me...I am having the best time ever...we have had  no power for two days and still don't have any...I can't travel back to Kansas until the roads clear..awwwww! My dad has to work from home and my mom is off...due to the inclement weather...So they have been home with me...YEAH!!!  We are doing the happy dance...Since my parents get a kick out of having the  most up to date technology, I get to update my blog, surf the net and watch the portable TV (only a few channels, but HEY)...and the fire place is going for warmth.  We used the snow to keep some drinks and potatoe salad cold.  See pics below...Back to the card I have posted...yesssss, it's me.  My favorite digi artist Robert Jackson is the creator.  He will draw a digi stamp in your image at your request, just email him.  Anywhooo, have a wonderful holiday season and enjoy life; it is such a blessing!

SOC Blogger Challenge
